LeTrainiump is an artist, storyteller, and live performer making emotionally intelligent music for people navigating love, growth, responsibility, and the work of becoming themselves. His songs turn everyday struggle into connection, helping listeners feel seen, understood, and less alone.Influenced by the timeless songwriting of Michael Jackson, the revolution spirit of Bob Marley, the nostalgic pop the likes of St. Lucia and The 1975 and the gospel music that shaped him, LeTrainiump blends soulful R&B vocals, infectious melodies, upbeat grooves, nostalgic synthesizers and live-band energy. The result is music that feels familiar yet forward-moving, rooted in the past but direct and contemporary in its storytelling.LeTrainiump grew up in a Baptist church, singing in children’s and young adults’ choirs, where he learned how to lead, listen, and connect with a room. That foundation continues to shape his music and live shows through call-and-response, communal energy, emotional release, and audience participation.

A full-time independent artist for seven years, LeTrainiump has performed at New Orleans Jazz Fest and the New Orleans Pelicans’ halftime show, earned NPR Tiny Desk’s “Desk of the Day” in 2021, and released two EPs with more than 150,000 combined streams. His songwriting collaborations include Pell, Tank and the Bangas, and THEBROSFRESH.Now based in Austin, Texas, LeTrainiump is entering his next chapter with SACRIFICE, a project about what it takes to remain true to yourself. The songs explore what gets left behind in pursuit of an honest life: familiar places, old identities, comfort, and the expectations of others.That same spirit defines his live show. Rooted in the church tradition that first taught him how music can bring people together, the experience blends performance, conversation, movement, and participation. It feels part concert, part communal release, and part spiritual gathering, without being church. What begins with strangers sharing a room becomes a community formed in real time.
